It’s the hardest thing to do in tennis: to play fast, but stay in control. With new Graphene 360+ technology, the HEAD Graphene 360+ Speed S allows you to do exactly that – just like Djokovic. By redistributing mass in key areas of the racket – the top and sides of the hoop, along with the throat – Graphene 360+ stabilises the frame on ball impact, optimising energy transfer to generate increased power. Brand new Spiralfibers, meanwhile, allow increased flex in the shoulders of the racket, giving you a more comfortable, natural feel. It’s the Spiralfibers that make all the difference to an all-round racket like the Speed, enabling you to go for your shots a bit more, safe in the knowledge that you’ll be hitting the lines rather than missing by millimetres. At 285 grams unstrung, the Speed S is the lightweight option of the main Speed range, still with enough heft behind it to create power, but slightly easier on the arm and with improved manoeuvrability. A thicker 25mm beam provides additional stiffness, while an open 16/19 string pattern encourages the generation of spin.
