MA-1 Heritage

Description

The black MA-1 barely needs an introduction. Originally built as a military flight jacket, it went on to become part of the uniform for a very different list of subcultures, from punks and skinheads to hip-hop and streetwear. Alpha Industries has been making them since the company’s early days, and we like this one precisely because they haven’t tried to reinvent it.

The Heritage version sticks to the formula with a black nylon shell, warm insulation, ribbed trims and the signature sleeve utility pocket. Flip it over and the orange lining brings the original flight-jacket reference straight back.
