It's all about flex with the Wilson Pro Staff 97 V14 DEMO. Utilising a new carbon fibre construction, Paradigm Bending optimises the racket's bending profile by shifting more flexibility towards the shaft. The result is significantly more control over your shots and a feel more akin to Pro Staffs of the past, such as the iconic Pro Staff 85. The advantage here, of course, is that you still have the inherent power of a larger headsize to pair with the improved precision – a winning combination for the modern game. Elsewhere, the Pro Staff V14 retains the stabilising Braid 45 fibre arrangement for enhanced “pocketing” sensation, while Intelligent String Mapping creates a denser string bed to help you hit winners with pinpoint accuracy. Looks-wise, the frame's decked out with Wilson's popular colour-shifting paintjob, this time in a premium matte copper. The hues transition from maroon to gold, serving as a nod to the series' original accent colours. Weighing in at 315g unstrung, the Pro Staff 97 is ideal for intermediate and experienced players who want easy access to power and are comfortable handling a heavier racket.
