Part of a two shoe, pinnacle race day shoe line up, the ASICS Metaspeed Edge Tokyo in Aquarium/White is designed for runners who speed up by increasing the length of their stride and helps conserve energy with every step.
The ASICS Metaspeed Edge Tokyo updates the Previous Paris version with a brand-new foam in the midsole, called FF Leap. Used in the bottom of the midsole for more cushioning and higher energy return, the top layer uses the same FF TURBO PLUS from previous versions. Designed this way around you get improved responsiveness with better stability through the landing phase.

A higher carbon plate positioning, and thicker foam through the toe area than its sister shoe the METASPEED EDGE, gives higher energy return through an extended stride, helping maintain your pace through the later stages of a race.

The MOTIONWRAP 3.0 upper is lightweight and made from a technical engineered woven fabric for precise lockdown, in the outsole ASICSGRIP provides advanced traction across a range of terrains.
